Characteristics Element¶
The Characteristics Element is a tool designed to parse and display character characteristics within Obsidian. It allows you to define a character's Might, Agility, Reason, Intuition, and Presence using YAML syntax, and then renders this information in an organized layout for easy reference during gameplay or writing.
Usage¶
To use the Characteristics Element, insert a code block with the language identifier ds-characteristics in your Obsidian note, and then define your characteristics using YAML syntax inside the code block.
Example characteristics:¶
~~~ds-characteristics
might: +2
agility: +1
reason: -1
intuition: +3
presence: +0
This code block will render the character's characteristics in a formatted display.
